Trade and Sourcing Services
Six complementary services that cover the whole voyage of your order, from finding the right factory to final settlement. Each one can be engaged on its own or combined into a single managed program.
Sourcing and Supplier Networks
A great product starts with a great factory. Our sourcing desk keeps a live network of vetted manufacturers across Asia that we have visited, audited, and monitored over many seasons. When you give us a specification and a target price, we shortlist candidates that match your volume, quality, and compliance profile. We then run factory visits, check financial stability, and gather reference orders so you receive a short folder of genuinely capable partners, not a random list of names.
Beyond the first match we stay beside you for the life of the relationship. We help negotiate unit prices, tooling costs, and payment terms, and we revisit supplier performance at agreed intervals. If a factory slips on delivery or quality, we are usually first to know, giving you time to react before a minor issue becomes a shipment crisis.
Trade Documentation and Compliance
Every cross-border shipment travels on paper as much as on water. We prepare the complete documentation suite, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, packing declarations, and risk and insurance cover notes. For shipments opened under a bank channel, we present documents that match the letter of credit exactly to avoid the discrepancies that stall payment.
Regulations change quickly, especially around customs valuation, product standards, and preferential trade agreements. Our compliance desk tracks these shifts and advises you before you commit to an order. We also review your importer-of-record requirements in destination markets so your goods meet entry conditions the first time, avoiding demurrage and penalty storage charges at the port.
Freight Consolidation
Full containers are rarely filled by a single purchase order. Freight consolidation lets several of your orders, or several of your suppliers, share one container and split the cost fairly. We group shipments by schedule and destination, book the space, and produce a single set of documents that keeps every consignee clearly identified.
We manage the tricky weather of consolidation, including cargo readiness dates, port cut-off times, and trans-shipment windows. If one vendor runs late, we re-route around them to protect the group sailing date. At the destination we follow each deconsolidation to confirm that every sub-order reaches its rightful receiver in condition, with clean allocation of costs.
Quality Assurance Inspections
Quality is not a hope, it is a process. We deploy trained inspectors to the factory at three key moments, before production to confirm raw materials, during production to catch drift early, and pre-shipment to verify the finished goods against your standards. Inspections check dimensions, weight, colour, function, packaging, and labeling, all documented with photographs that travel with the report.
When a result falls outside tolerance, we give you options rather than a problem. Depending on your preference we request rework, sort the batch, negotiate a discount, or stop the load. Our aim is to place the decision in your hands armed with facts, so a defect never silently sails on and becomes an expensive dispute later.
Market Intelligence Reports
Good buying decisions need good information. Our market intelligence reports give you a focused view of the sectors we serve, covering raw material prices, factory utilisation, transport rates, and competitor positioning. Each report is written in plain business language and organised around a clear question, such as whether to order now or wait, or whether a price increase is fair.
The reports draw on our daily contact with suppliers, forwarders, and market desks. We do not flood you with raw numbers. Instead we deliver a short, decision-ready brief you can circulate to your team, complete with assumptions and confidence notes so you know how solid each estimate is.
Cross-Border Settlement Support
Money crosses borders almost as often as cargo, and it carries its own risks. We help structure payment flows that suit the risk profile of the transaction, whether that is an advance, a milestone schedule, or a document against payment arrangement. We verify bank details carefully to guard against fraud and confirm settlement terms are clear to both sides before the order begins.
We also help you think through currency exposure, matching payment timing to receipts where possible to reduce the cost of avoidable conversions. At the close of each transaction we reconcile the payments against milestones and produce a simple statement, so you always know exactly what flowed, when, and in which direction.
